All content on RefurbVerify, including TrustScores, vendor profiles, ratings, review aggregates and rankings, is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes a recommendation or endorsement to purchase from any vendor. RefurbVerify expressly disclaims all liability for any purchasing decision made in reliance on information published on this site.
2. Score Accuracy
TrustScores are computed using a Bayesian-adjusted model combining publicly available Trustpilot and Google Reviews data with RefurbVerify's own assessments of vendor transparency and operational legitimacy. Scores are a point-in-time estimate and may not reflect the current state of a vendor's service, policies, or reviews. Vendor circumstances, review volumes, and star ratings change over time.
3. Whole-Platform Ratings
Some ratings used in TrustScore calculations reflect whole-platform review scores — not scores specific to the vendor's refurbished products only. This applies particularly to large marketplace platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Best Buy, Target and similar retailers where refurbished products represent a small portion of overall sales. Such scores should be interpreted with additional caution.
4. No Commercial Relationship
RefurbVerify does not accept payment from any vendor in exchange for rankings, scores, or features. No vendor has paid for placement on this site. RefurbVerify does not receive affiliate commissions from vendor sales. All assessments are conducted independently.
5. Third-Party Data
Review data sourced from Trustpilot and Google Reviews is the property of those respective platforms. RefurbVerify makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of that data. Vendor operational information (BBB status, physical operations, contact details) is sourced from publicly available information at time of assessment and may have changed.
6. No Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RefurbVerify, its owners, operators and contributors disclaim all liability for any loss or damage (including consequential loss) arising from use of or reliance on this site, including any purchasing decision, product defect, vendor dispute or transaction outcome.
7. Jurisdiction
This site is operated and intended for use in the United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from use of this site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of US courts.
8. Changes
RefurbVerify reserves the right to update, modify or discontinue any content, scores or vendor profiles at any time without notice. The methodology may be revised and scores recomputed periodically.
